Sales Rep Tracking App for Saudi Arabia: Arabic + ZATCA QR
A sales rep tracking app for Saudi Arabia has to do more than draw dots on a map. Typical US tracking apps stop exactly there — and leave a Saudi distributor with three gaps: an English-only interface field reps quietly resist, no simplified tax invoice with a QR code under Phase 1 (the Generation phase) of e-invoicing, and no true offline mode for warehouses and edge-of-town routes. FieldSales was built Arabic-first for exactly this market.
What "tracking" means when it is built for distribution
Every visit is logged at the customer's location with a live camera photo (no gallery uploads), GPS coordinates and a timestamp — and it works offline, syncing automatically when coverage returns. The rep's day renders as a road-matched route, not straight lines across the desert, so planned-vs-actual comparison is real. And because tracking lives inside the sales cycle, every invoice and receipt voucher carries its own place and time: visit → invoice → collection, one thread on one map.
The capability gap, side by side
| What a Saudi team needs | Typical US tracking apps | FieldSales |
|---|---|---|
| Arabic-first rep app | English UI, sometimes partial translation | Native Arabic, RTL throughout |
| Tax invoice from the field | Not included | Simplified invoice with QR, Phase 1 (Generation) |
| Offline day of work | View-only at best | Invoices, receipts and visits created offline, auto-sync |
| Van stock custody | Not included | Load, sell, reconcile per item daily |
| Photo visit proof | Check-in pin only | Camera-only photo + GPS + time |
| Pricing model | Per user, grows with headcount | Per company: SAR 299/month up to 5 reps, SAR 599 up to 20 |
What we do not claim
Phase 2 (Integration) of ZATCA e-invoicing is not built yet — we say that plainly. ZATCA does not certify software vendors, so no vendor should claim its endorsement. What you get today is a complete Phase-1 field invoicing and tracking cycle that your reps will actually use, in their language.
Fair questions before you switch
Does it work on ordinary Android phones? Yes — the rep app is a lightweight PWA; no special hardware beyond an optional 58mm Bluetooth thermal printer.
Can managers see visits live? Yes — a live visit counter and list on the tracking map, plus per-rep completion against the plan.
Is rep privacy respected? The system documents work events — visits, invoices, receipts — during working hours; announce the policy openly and diligent reps become its first supporters, because their work is finally provable.
